Another beauty I want to write about here is Natalie Wood.  Tomorrow, Nov. 29, is the 30th anniversary of her death by... misadventure?  Actually, I believe she was murdered.  There was a huge fight between Natalie and her husband Robert Wagner.  Davern, the skipper on their yacht, said he never saw them fight like this.  They were in their bedroom and it sounded like they were throwing things around.  Everyone on the yacht was drunk.  Natalie had been drinking the whole day.  She also had Darvon, a pain narcotic, in her system.  Robert Wagner was plasterred.  Next, the skipper saw "R.J," and Natalie outside on the deck.  Next, he saw Natalie with her coat on.  Then, Wagner came inside and Natalie wasn't out there anymore.  Wagner said to the skipper, "I've been trying to find Natalie for a half hour.  She must have taken the dinghy and gone ashore.

This was ludicrous.  Natalie couldn't swim and feared the water.  Also the Dinghy was tied to the external wall  of the yacht.  Someone, 5'1 and weighing 90 lbs, would have a struggle to get it down, especially when drunk and angry.  The skipper suggested they turn on a large exterior light and look for her, but Wagner said no.  The skipper suggested, "We have to call for help."  RJ said no.  It wouldn't look good for his image.  And besides she'll learn a lesson."  The 2 men kept drinking.  Around 5 am, Wagner called for help and when the first help got there Wagner said, "We didn't call for help earlier because she was probably on another boat fooling around.  That's the type of girl she is."

Natalie Wood was found floating near shore in her red down coat, dead from hypothermia and drowning.  The dinghy was close by.  The ignition was turned to off.  She never made it into the dinghy.  The coat was allowing her to float, but it was preventing her from getting into the dinghy.  The authorities found fingernail impressions from Natalie holding onto the dinghy for dear life.

Robert Wagner was never charged.  The skipper relied on Wagner for his keep.  The full story didn't come out then.  But it's coming out in a new investigation.  The authorities have reopened the case.  They say Wagner isn't a suspect.  Wagner already has his lawyers.

After that experience, I would never touch another sip of alcohol for the rest of my life.  But Wagner went on drinking.  Let's see what happens.  RJ is 81 now.  He's had 30 years to think about that night.  He's felt safe.  I hope the courts do the right thing.

This is the 48th Anniversary of the death of Karyn Kupcinet.  She was an actress in Hollywood the last 3 years of her life.  Her death has never been solved.  She laid dead on the sofa in her apartment where she just moved for 3 days.  It is a long story and this is just part of it.  She started acting on stage in Chicago when she was 13.  She studied for a time with Lee Strasberg at his Actor's Studio.

This girl had no luck whatsoever.  She was short and was big boned like her father.  She had her father's facial features.  His name was Irv Kupcinet.  He was the most well-liked man in Chicago.  Everyone knew Kup.  He worked as a columnist for the Chicago Sun-Times and hosted his own late night talk show once a week, until talk ran out.  Later he would make his show 90 minutes and towards the end it went 1 hour long.  Sometimes I was able to get the show on TV in NJ.  I didn't know about the tragedy then.  When Karyn died 1500 mourners went to the funeral.  Irv had a lot of pull.  But it did not help his daughter.

Karyn was 22 years old when she passed.  She was found nude on her sofa.  As time has passed, there's a general notion that she may have committed suicide.  But they say women who commit suicide are not found in the nude.  A bathrobe laid on another chair.

She was discovered on Nov. 30, 1963 by her actor friend, Mark Goddard, who later rose to fame on Lost in Space.  Lost in space would make a great description of Karyn's life, especially her last year.  Karyn's mother had Karyn memorizing lines before she could read, the story goes.  Essee Kupcinet gave Karyn her first diet pills.  Essee would get mad if Karyn put on weight, according to their housekeeper, who'd been with them for decades.  But Karyn couldn't help it; she was big-boned to begin with.  It became an obsession to her.  Everyday she would start in he diary/address book what she weighed that morning.  When she spoke to reporters she'd tell them her diet woes.  Big-boned people always look thicker and for them to lose weight or keep weight off is an unhealthy thing to do.  She wanted people to see how thin she was, and for that in her last year she was taking methamphetamine, a drug called Desoxyn.  When the police showed up, they found pill bottles in her medicine chest.  One she had refilled 2 days before her death, on the National Day of Mourning for President Kennedy.  The bottle said it contained 100 pills.  It was empty.  Where did they go?

The apartment looked ransacked, but nothing was missing  --- except for the 100 pills.  Her furs were there, her jewelry.  She was buried in the white gown she'd worn as a Hollywood Debutante.

The coroner concluded she was strangled because her hyoid bone was fractured.  But the coroner, named Kade, was often drunk (though his son denies it).  He was fired when 2 women were exhumed to see what they'd died from.  Neither woman had been strangled.  He had a fetish for strangled women.  The case went to court.  He had joked once that "At least I didn't break the hyoid bone on that one."  Whose hyoid bone was he speaking of?  This had to have gotten back to Irv Kupcinet.  You could not go near him, though and say maybe she committted suicide.  This would put him in a homicidal rage.

Obviously, this is a case I've followed for 32 years.  There is much more to this story and when I have time I'll share it.

Joe Frazier died yesterday of liver cancer.  It was his generation of boxers that I know best.  Muhammed Ali stated what a good boxer Frazier was and that they were friends.  But friends of Frazier said he hated Ali till the end.  Which I think is sad.

I used to watch boxing.  Of course, Cassius Clay, later Muhammed Ali.  The newspapers I read today kept comparing Ali to Frazier and Ali came out on top.  Frazier had a street mentality.  He was darker than Ali.  And it's true that Ali has Irish blood in him.

Generations back, an Irish slave-owner had sex with one of Muhammed's ancesters.  His mother was light skinned.  But it was Frazier who died, yet Ali gets all the attention as usual.  Ali didn't care that he wasn't as black as Frazier, but to Frazier it meant everything.  Muhammed Ali's used to taunt him on the Mike Douglas Show and Howard Cosell.  On Mike Douglas, Ali would call Frazier "boy."  Frazier would get up and say, "Don't call me boy."  And Ali would cower in his chair and say, "I said Roy."  It was funny as hell.

Another boxer I admired was the Bayonne Bleeder, Chuck Wepner from NJ.  He went 15 rounds with Ali.  He didn't win but to me that was a major accomplishment.

A friend and I went to a closed circuit showing of Ali's fight with George Foreman.  Ali went on shows and told the audience how the fight was going to take place.  He was going to allow Foreman to punch him while he covered himself up with his mitts.  He called it "The Rope a Dope."  He said that by the 8th round Foreman would be punched out and then Ali would knock him out.  It happened exactly the way Ali predicted.

I had a Great-Uncle named Jackie Farrell who was a PR man for Jack Dempsey and later for the Yankees.  When asked about the upcoming fight with Frazier, my uncle said, "To me they're both bums.  And neither one of them could step in a ring with Dempsey."

I met Joyce Carol Oates at a book signing.  She had earlier written a book about boxing.  We had a nice conversation about it.

Frazier is dead yet the publicity still swirls around Muhammed Ali, who to me is the best boxer ever.  Ali suffers from Parkinsons, which might have stemmed from a fight with Frazier.  It was a God awful punch.  Ali's head almost spun.  Was this the unfortunate happenstance that brought on the Parkinsons?

It's still all about Ali, one of the best athletes we've ever had.  Sharp-witted and lovable.  Smart as a whip.  And still so pretty.

What's Next for Howewives of NJ?

I have been distracted of late and that's why I haven't been too active on
this website.  I want to respond to the Housewives of NJ's Reunion Show.  It's obvious to me that Andy Cohen hates Teresa.  Hates!  He zoomed in
on her for the most part during the 2 hour show.  Is it because her
husband used a gay slur and Andy's gay?  Or she made a crack about her Jewish friends telling her to leave her husband?  Teresa couldn't conceive of it.  That says a lot about her.  And Teresa's legal problems and money problems  -- stay out of it.  It seemed like a personal vendetta.  Andy
Cohen is Jewish.

So I saw another side of him.  Usually he's cute, upbeat, funny.  He has
big teeth, a big smile and is cock-eyed but looks good like that.

Now I want to address Caroline Manzo.  Who the hell is she to take such
an attitude to Teresa?  She thought it was a disgrace that Gia sang a song
re all the commotion going on between family members.  So what?
When Teresa was flipping the table, Caroline was hysterically laughing.  She always found Teresa's company entertaining.  Now she says she's
been trying to get her out of her life for 2 years.

She was no friend to Teresa.  Everyone has trouble in their family.  Stay
out of it.  Possibly Teresa chasing Danielle through a country club,
pushing people and breaking glass and not caring, began to turn her off.  Teresa's language could be rough too.  And husband Joe with his guilt
about not paying his partner for half of the business.  Caroline sure
knows how to look down at people.  I think Teresa is a great mother.
She loves her husband and her 4 daughters.  Caroline and Teresa went on trips together!

So now Caroline's friends with Teresa's in-laws and cousins but not
Teresa.  (I've noticed that Teresa gets rambunctious after a few drinks.)

I don't know what happened with Jacqueline.  She's been going through a
bad time because of her daughter.  I think they should realize that depression is an illness.  So she goes out at night with a friend or two, but sleeps all day.  She can't hold onto a job.  She didn't do well in school.  I think they should back off of her awhile.  It's not like they're economically strapped and need her income.  Back off .  She needs to see a doctor or nurse practitioner who can try anti-depressant medication.  It's hard to forge an identity when you suffer from depression, and often the kid
doesn't let on how deep it is or what caused it.  Maybe she was rejected.  You never know.

I know she treats her mother horribly.  I think this wanting to go to California is a means to get away, escape.  Otherwise, I don't know how to fix a mother and daughter.  And she never does anything to help around
the house.

I must say, with all their money I would have thought they'd have servants.  That's not a criticism just what I thought looking at the size of those houses.  I used to live 15 minutes from Franklin Lakes.

I wonder now if there's going to be another round of The Housewives of NJ.  Jacqueline has quit and I don't think Andy Cohen wants Teresa on anymore.  He just kept bombarding her and I could see his dislike.  That might be it for Franklin Lakes and The Housewives of NJ.

In this footage there is a photo I had never seen before  -- Marilyn Monroe holding a trophy and John F. Kennedy is standing right next to her circa 1953.

Nicholas Cage - One of the Undead

A Seattle man put a photo of a man from 1870 on eBay and his asking price was a million dollars.  Why would anyone pay that much for an old photo?  This man claims that Nicholas Cage is the man in the picture.  And that he lets himself live to 70 or 80 years old and then reincarnates.  He calls Nicholas Cage a Vampire.  In this life Cage is an actor.  But what will he be next?

The man had several offers, but declined.  EBay has removed the item from their site.  Nicholas Cage has not commented yet as far as I know.  [From Hollywood Reporter; told to share.]

Jerry Lewis with His Kids with President Kennedy

I asked if I could use this photo and I never got an answer.  I use it here because it's a very special picture of Jerry, 2 MDA children, parents and President Kennedy.  This was years before Jerry officially represented MDA on a huge telethon.  He and Kennedy were friends .You can't see it here but Jerry has tears running down his face.

Jerry Lewis Never Again on Telethon

Jerry Lewis has always been controversial. Why take him off now? That's the disgrace. After all these years. In the old days staying up all night and day. The telethon worked because of Jerry Lewis' reactions to things. Particularly the crying. Whoever they get to "man" the show could never live up to Jerry's work. He's not Jerry Lewis. I'm afraid the 6-1/2 hours will not produce much money. He's 85 years old and people want to see him. I will turn the telethon on, and if I don't see Jerry Lewis I will shut it off.

Below is what I read about this falling out. I know Jerry is going to call a press conference about this on Sept.5.

Ability Magazine said:

Lewis has made such derogatory comments during the telethons. During the 1991 MDA Telethon, Lewis said in regards to a person who has been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, (ALS), "You might as well put a gun to your head." During the 1992 telethon, Lewis said: "My kids cannot go into the workplace. There's nothing they can do. They've been attacked by a vicious killer. I'm begging for their survival."

"But the May 20 CBS Sunday interview sparked a public apology, by both the MDA and Jerry Lewis himself, after more than 100 people with disabilities wrote in outrage. In its statement, the MDA said,"...the Board of Directors and all of us at the Association are deeply disturbed by a comment made by our national chairman. His comment does not reflect the views MDA or its leadership, and our displeasure has been communicated directly to Mr. Lewis. [So they fired him.]

"Jerry Lewis himself later apologized publicly, "The statement I made on the May 20 CBS Morning Show was made in error. It is certainly not how I feel. Many of the people that I work closely with are in wheelchairs and I have never seen any of them as inferior to anyone else. They are my friends and my co-workers. I would never intentionally harm or demean anyone with a disability. I believe in my heart that I have done good work." But some disability rights activists have argued that these statements have come too little too late, noting also that the public apologies have been the first of its kind."

Jerry Lewis Falls Ill

Jerry Lewis fell ill today as he was about to step onto a French stage to perform for Muscular Dystrophy.  He says this will be his last telethon as host.  He says he will still sing "When You Walk."

Jerry wasn't hospitalized but a doctor did attend to him.  The doctor said he collapsed from exhaustion.  He's 85 years young.  I wish him well.  He's been one of my favorite celeb -- going back, when he was nasty on the Mike Douglas Show in the '70's or the Telethon.  When he got off Percodan and met his current wife, I think he was very happy.  And he's made a lot of money since.  Amazon is selling his videos.  Above is The Ladies Man (1961).  Karyn Kupcinet was in it.  She was also going to be in The Nutty President (1963), but she died.

I began to understand Jerry when I realized what had happened to him in 1963.  He was given a multi-million dollar contract to host a live 2-hour Saturday night show on whatever network.  Everyone wished him luck.  On his first show were phone calls from Johnny Carson and other talk show hosts wishing him well.  Steve Allen played a joke on Jerry. Steve was in the audience with Karyn Kupcinet.  This was around Sept. 1963.

I loved Jerry but I was too young to watch the show that late.  But my parents always brought me to his movies, and I remember seeing The Ladies Man when it first came out.

The show bombed.  I don't know why.  He lost his multi-million dollar deal.  Apparently the Producers did not like the show.  The embarassment of losing a deal like that affected him.  He started to become "Jer."  Then his friend, President John F. Kennedy, was assassinated. Then the girl he discovered, Karyn Kupcinet, was murdered the next week.  On the show he had the audience singing "Think Pink" because his wife was pregnant.  They already had 5 boys.  Lewis wanted a daughter.  The child was born during this time frame, another boy.  That's a hell of a lot of things to deal with in a short span of time.

There was one fortunate thing for him that year: The Nutty Professor was a hit.

So now I understand "Jer."

OJ Simpson Curtailed Once Again

Monday, May 30, 2011
Legal Briefs

Las Vegas Business Press

Attorney to appeal O.J. Simpson's Nevada conviction

As Clark County District Court Judge Jackie Glass prepares to leave her seat for a career in television, the man who made her famous won't soon be free.

O.J. Simpson, who was convicted in 2008 of armed robbery and kidnapping in connection with a 2007 incident at Palace Station, will not have his appeal heard by the Nevada Supreme Court.

Simpson, 63, is serving a nine-year to 33-year sentence at the medium security Lovelock Correctional Center. Simpson had been convicted of leading an armed invasion of a sports memorabilia dealer who had items that Simpson claimed were his property.

The only option left for Simpson would be the federal court system. Simpson lawyer Malcolm LaVergne told The Associated Press that he will appeal his client's conviction in federal court.

LaVergne said he believes Simpson's notoriety from his famous 1995 murder trial and acquittal in Los Angeles has made the former football star and actor too controversial for a Nevada Supreme Court Justice to set free.

"What judge wants to be put in the position that they let O.J. go free?" attorney LaVergne told the AP. "We'll work now within the federal court system. ... This is not a fair result for Mr. Simpson, given the facts of the case."

If Simpson's 2008 conviction stands, he will not be eligible for parole until at least 2016.

New Trials

I'm holding my breath.  No one's going to like this, but I think Michael Skakel is innocent.  The link to Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.'s vivid portrait of the night Martha Moxley died shows authorities did not investigate other suspects, namely the "baby-sitter" for the Skakel's is in the post below.  And the other suspects: a group of boys who got into the closed community through the woods.  They were there that night and at least one time before.

I also call for another trial for O.J. Simpson.  He was acquitted of the murder charges.  No other suspects were looked into: drug dealers or O.J.'s oldest son.

A book by William Dear called, O.J. Is Guilty, but Not of Murder describes O.J.'s son as having an intermittent rage disorder.  He's a chef.  He had his knives with him.  No chef leaves his knives at the restaurant.  He was never looked at.  I think he should come forward like a man and admit his guilt.  He was the only one in the family who wasn't elated when O.J. got off.  A report said that at at one point, the son was in a fetal position on the floor and couldn't be seen.  After the acquittal O.J. gave him a message to read to the public.  The look on this young man's face told viewers he wasn't too happy.  Very puzzling.

The charges O.J. is dealing with are nothing more than judicial revenge.  I found that judge very arrogant  -- the woman who put away Simpson.  Now she's having a TV show with herself as the judge.  A reward?  And I hated the way she explained the jury's job.  Real fast and impossible to decipher.  Shouldn't she be held accountable for that?  I couldn't understand her.  She's a show off. Anyone else who participated in this fight amongst "boys" would get a slap on the wrist.  This is not justice; it's a lynch mob.  Simpson should have a fairer trial.  Do you agree?  Click on "comments."

Mickey Sherman's Strange Website

Go to http://www.mickeysherman.com to see the lawyer's advertisement.  It's a little eerie, but it makes you notice him.  Below he's at the Michael Skakel trial with Douglas and Robert Kennedy, Jr.  RFK Jr didn't care for Mickey Sherman's defense of his cousin, which failed miserably, and wrote a long, fascinating article about it in The Atlantic; an intriguing read. RFK Jr claims other suspects were not investigated.  I urge you to read it.  The article can be found at:

Cocaine Blues by Mickey Sherman
*********************************
From the NewsTimes.com (link at bottom):
Michael "Mickey" Sherman -- the high-profile attorney best known for defending Kennedy cousin Michael Skakel in his 2002 murder trial -- and who also represented Marash Gojcaj in his recent murder trial in Danbury Superior Court, turned himself in Tuesday at the federal prison in Otisville, N.Y.
Sherman will begin a one-year, one-day sentence for tax evasion.
A Greenwich native who has offices in Stamford, Sherman pleaded guilty last June to failing to pay more than $420,000 in federal taxes.
Sherman, 64, was the guest of honor at a going-away party last month at which guests paid $20 to sip cocktails with Sherman in a Greenwich watering hole. At the party, Sherman said he had no bitterness about serving the prison sentence.
"I didn't get railroaded. I made a mistake. I never groused about paying the price," he said. "I do believe that lawyers should be held to a higher standard."
Although the Internal Revenue Service said that Sherman hasn't paid close to $1 million in taxes since the mid 1990s, he agreed to plead guilty to failing to pay $420,710 in taxes for 2001 and 2002.
All the while, he was making between $800,000 and $1 million a year, according to Assistant U.S. Attorney Peter Jongbloed.
The IRS is pursuing the rest of the money through civil proceedings. Sherman's law license has been suspended, but he expects to resume practicing law upon release from prison.
Sherman's attorney, William Dow, said earlier this year that his client will apply for reinstatement when released from prison.
That could happen before the full sentence is over because Sherman is eligible for early release based on good behavior.
"Mickey has accepted responsibility for what he did," Dow said. "He is the consummate professional and I have no doubt that he will be back practicing law and defending people as soon as he is able to do so."

Jeff Conaway Dead at 60

LOS ANGELES - New York-born actor Jeff Conaway, famous for his roles in "Grease" and TV's "Taxi," died early Friday after an accidental pill overdose and two weeks in a coma. He was 60 years old.

The actor, who battled cocaine and prescription drug addiction for years, was taken off life support and passed away within minutes at 10:30 a.m., his sister said.

"They did everything they possibly could, everything humanly possible," sister Carla Shreve, 66, told the News "We kept him as comfortable as possible. He's in the Lord's hands now."

She said Conaway was found unconscious and taken to a hospital in Encino, Calif., on May 10.

"He was unconscious for a long time, and he had pneumonia so bad," she said. "We had hope last week, but that hope was just gone this week. His blood wasn't getting any oxygen."

Jeff Conaway in Coma

JEFF CONAWAY(PEOPLE.com) -- After a long history of health problems and addiction, "Taxi" star Jeff Conaway fell into a coma a week ago in Los Angeles.
T
he latest crisis for the troubled actor, 60, came as a surprise to those closest to him.
"He seemed fine early last week," his manager of eight years, Phil Brock, told PEOPLE on Thursday. "He had spoken with his agent and his management team and even attended an autograph signing. He really seemed in fine spirits."

Given what appeared to be a content state of well-being for Conaway, Brock and the rest of his team were devastated when the actor was found after lying unconscious for approximately 10 hours.
"We strongly hope for his recovery," Brock says. "We hope he can finally exorcise the demons that have plagued him. He is an amazingly kind soul and there are many people who care about him."
Brock fears the ultimate outcome of the situation -- and for good reason.

"Over the weekend, there was head movement, but there have not been any changes in his movement or condition since then," he says. "We are concerned it may have been an overdose but we have no way of knowing for sure."

JEFF CONAWAY

Conaway, who battled substance abuse since he was 17, had an open struggle with alcohol, cocaine and pain pills over the course of his life.

At the time he slipped into a coma, Brock says the actor was on a combination of legally prescribed painkillers to treat back problems and other medications for various illnesses. The adverse reaction caused Conaway to come down with pneumonia.

Conaway's problems were publicly addressed on Dr. Drew Pinsky's "Celebrity Rehab" reality series on VH1, during which Pinsky told PEOPLE the Grease actor was "complicated," but "not hopeless."
"I am deeply saddened to learn of Jeff's condition," Pinsky says of Conaway's current state. "My thoughts and prayers are with Jeff and his family."

Schwartzenegger and Maria Shriver Break Up - the Reason

Arnold Schwarzenegger has admitted having a child with a member of his household staff which apparently made his wife Maria Shriver leave him.

The former Hollywood star and governor of California and Ms Shriver jointly announced on May 9 that they were splitting up after 25 years of marriage.

But Ms Shriver moved out of the family’s mansion earlier in the year after Mr Schwarzenegger acknowledged the child was his.

“After leaving the governor’s office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago,” Mr Schwarzenegger said.

“I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologised to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry.

“I ask that the media respect my wife and children through this extremely difficult time,” the statement concluded. “While I deserve your attention and criticism, my family does not.”

Hours later, Ms Shriver also released a statement saying: “This is a painful and heartbreaking time. As a mother, my concern is for the children. I ask for compassion, respect and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal. I will have no further comment.”

The Los Angeles Times which broke the story did not publish the mother’s name nor that of her child but said she worked for the family for 20 years and retired in January.

Mr Schwarzenegger issued his statement to the Times after the newspaper interviewed the former worker. She told the Times that another man – her husband at the time – was the child’s father. When the Times later informed the woman of the governor’s statement, she declined to comment further.

The child was born before Mr Schwarzenegger began his seven-year stint in public office.

Ms Shriver stood by her husband during his 2003 campaign after the Los Angeles Times reported accusations that he had a history of groping women. Mr Schwarzenegger later said he “behaved badly sometimes.”

In his first public comments since the couple announced their breakup, Mr Schwarzenegger said last week that he and Ms Shriver “both love each other very much.”

“We are very fortunate that we have four extraordinary children and we’re taking one day at a time,” he said. Their children range in age from 13 to 21.

Since his term as California governor ended in early January, Mr Schwarzenegger, 63, has hopped around the world, his wife nowhere in sight.

While the “Terminator” star appeared confident about the future since exiting politics, cutting movie deals and fashioning himself as a global spokesman for green energy, Ms Shriver, known for her confidence, seemed unsettled.

Ms Shriver, 55, maintained her own identity when her husband entered politics, though she gave up her job at NBC.

Their union was often tested when Mr Schwarzenegger was governor, when he contended with a rough seven years of legislative gridlock, a budget crisis and lingering questions about his fidelity.

Also, his son, Patrick, 17, sides with his mother.

Princess Diana, one of many conspiracy theories

Here is a curious excerpt from a website called londonnet concerning Princess Diana.

http://www.londonnet.co.uk/ln/talk/news/diana_conspiracy_theories_1.html

"Upon viewing the respective funerals of Di and Mother Theresa, I couldn't help but notice how easy it was to see Mother Theresa lying in state in that big glass box compared to the closed casket of Di.

Dodi's casket was never even seen, let alone open at a funeral. And Jean-Paul's casket was closed too.

Of course, naysayers will argue that their faces were too badly damaged for open casket viewing but we're also told that Diana was uttering some final words. Thus her face was in good enough condition to speak a little and therefore repairable by a good mortician."

This is a photo of her in the car. It is said she looked as beautiful in death as she did at life. People are very curious about Princess Diana and how she died.

Someone asked: "Basically, has ANYONE seen ANY "dead bodies"? Anyone at all? Of ANY dead body from the car? Is there REALLY a religious reason for Dodi to have been buried right away? Is anyone up to checking the graves for bodies? Kennedy's brain was said to have been missing. Elvis's body was apparently moved from it's original site. Has anyone other than French doctors confirmed the death of Di? There's a mathemetician who's recently written a book "OJ Didn't Do It"... he advertises on a web site findable via Infoseek and the phrase "OJ didn't do it". His reasoning is wonderful. I wonder if he's ready to tackle the Di mystery."

Charlie Sheen - Carlos Estevez

Charlie Sheen has been replaced by Hugh Grant in Two and a Half Men. I wish Grant luck. Charlie is "winning." There's a comical video of him. Scroll down. It's hysterical. I think he's in Mania. How is it going to end?

Yvette Vickers '50's actress

Yvette Vickers was found dead this week.  The police say it's possible she died a year ago.  Others, 6 month.  She became a recluse and felt someone was stalking her.  It's a sad thing when you're so beautiful in youth, but haven't the money for face-lifts and other plastic surgery.  The coroner doesn't know yet what she died from.  Her neighbor managed to get into her house and found her mummified remains.  She had boxes of things throughout the first floor.  She was found unrecognizable on the floor.  The neighbor didn't know it was a body.

She starred in Attack of the Fifty-foot Woman as a sexy dancer in a bar.  Her boyfriends included Cary Grant and Timothy Hutton.   And was a Playboy Playmate in 1959.
This past week, Lenny Bloom, analysed the upcoming election.  He believes that Obama's birth certificate was kept from the public, as a way of making it easier for another candidate to run, this one a Republican, and that's Arnold  Schwarzenagger.  Schwarzenegger was born in Germany, his father an SS Officer.  Arnold's birth certificate is German.  He wasn't born here.  Everyone knows it.  There are people who, dealing with Obama, don't care anymore about the rule that says you must be born in the US to be its President.  So Schwartenegger, will possibly become a candidate.Today Arnold and his wife announced that they have separated.  Maybe she remembers she's a Kennedy.  She looks to me like a very sick woman.  I believe she has Addison's disease.  (I have no proof.)  Her mother, Eunice, dealt with Addison's all her life and lived a good, long, productive life.  President Kennedy suffered from Addison's too.  If you can believe any of the autopsy findings, the President's adrenals were completely atrophied.  I don't think Maria could handle being first lady if she is ill.  Of course, we don't know what's happening yet.  Will Republicans put Arnold on the ticket?  I'm all for Trump.

Tapes Reveal New Marilyn Monroe Accounts of Her Last Night

Marilyn Monroe had a hair and make-up stylist named George Masters.  He was blond and strikingly handsome.  She needed his skills so she stuck with him and vice versa.  He called her the "coldest" woman on earth.  She wanted him to dye his hair a dark color  -- because his blond hair was close to her own color and people thought he was her brother; he was taking too much attention from her.  Together they traveled together.  She spent her last night with Sam Giancana at the Cal-Neva Lodge.  This is the first time the public is hearing about this.  George Master's nephew taped conversations with him about the various celebs he'd groomed.  One particular story was a startling one about Monroe's last night.

She and George traveled in Frank Sinatra's plane headed for the Cal-Neva Lodge.  Buddy Greco was there, as was Giancana.  George Masters goes on to say that Giancana was trying to get her to keep  silent about...Kennedy!  That night they flew home.  That was the last time Masters would see her.  He claims she was killed with an enema filled with nembutal, a drug she currently took.  She earlier self-administered a therapeutic dosage of chloral hydrate, a prescription from another doctor.  One hand didn't know what the other hand was doing.  For the record, they found no alcohol in her system.  Masters believed the FBI killed Marilyn Monroe.  They wanted to shame the Kennedys and ruin their political careers.  Peter Lawford and Private Detective Otash went over to Marilyn's house and cleaned it of anything pertaining to the Kennedy Brothers.

The first cop arrived after 4:30 am.  By 5:00 am the word was out that Marilyn was found dead.  The public was shocked.  The coroner's office stated her death was probable suicide.  They said her depression stemmed from her studio firing her.  And people believed it.  What also shocked some people in 1962?  That Marilyn Monroe didn't have a date on a Saturday night and supposedly died with a phone in her hand, maybe calling for help.

The Judds and Chaz

Tonight on Oprah Winfrey's channel OWN at 10 pm, a sort of documentary series will begin about the Judds.  Ashley Judd is publishing her memoirs.  Nothing is secret now, Naomi says.  The commercial shows a much heavier Wynnona, with severe Botox paralysis of the face.  When she speaks, only her mouth moves.  And her face is dropping (as is mine).  Her mother, Naomi Judd, has put on weight and also bears a starched face.  They're now replicas of themselves, fond memories.

On Tuesday, May 10th, on OWN at 10 pm, I believe, they will show a documentary called Becoming Chaz about Chastity Bono, daughter of Sonny and Cher, and her becoming a him, a man named Chaz.  I believe she has gone through the complete sex change operation.  I remember when they announced she'd underwent surgery to remove her breasts.  That shocked me.  Although much heavier than before, she says she likes her body now; that she looks the way she always wanted to look.  I wish her the best.

Charlie Sheen at His Most Manic

Apparently this is a video wrapped around an actual interview with ABC News.  It is funny as hell.  And a bit scary.

Donald Trump Gets Roasted

Two nights ago, in the middle of the night, a show came on called Comedy Central (?) with a disclaimer that it was for adults only.  They were roasting Donald Trump.  I saw things I never saw before on TV.  I'll admit most of the comedians I didn't know.  Everything was foul for the sake of being foul.  What surprised me the most was hearing-impaired, Oscar-winning actress Marlee Matlin, making gestures imitating -- for lack of a better phrase  -- blow jobs.  All the jokes were "dirty."  They way outdid Andrew Dice Clay.  If they can do this on TV now, they should put Andrew Dice Clay back on.  He has a "character," called the Dice Man.  I think we should give him back his career after what I saw.

One part made me laugh.  Marlee was looking for her interpreter and out came Gilbert Gottfried, as funny as usual.  The next day I was telling someone this and she couldn't believe it and I thought to myself, "Did I hallucinate this"?  In ways it was like a nightmare.  They called Trump a "douchebag."

Then he had to get up.  He said a few words and then -- in the script  -- I think he said something he wished he didn't have to.  He used the word "fucking."  This man is going to run for President!  And I'm going to vote for him.

Dame Elizabeth Taylor: Actress and Invalid

I wonder where Joan Rivers was when she heard the news that Elizabeth Taylor died.  Did she remember how cruel she was towards her on different shows in the 80's?

I believe the roots of Dame Elizabeth's illnesses was early stardom, amazing beauty and reporters.  Because of her beauty she had men she loved and was constantly in the newspapers.  The movie magazines began to say nasty things about her.  They wrote about her more and more till it was a crescendo.  She was perhaps the most famous woman in the world.  She was scrutinized.  She would meet people who thought they "knew" her because of her fame.  She was being put down as immoral, especially for her romance with Eddie Fisher.

She attended a theater once with Richard Burton.  Crowds of people went up to her to see if her eyes really were violet: they were, but maybe more towards lavender.  She was the most dissected person in the world.  She had no privacy.

At some point she became very ill.  The number of illnesses she suffered was endless.  And I believe this was all a Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome experience.  She lived like a caged animal.

In the '70's she began to put on weight.  Jokes were made about her by Joan Rivers.  Yet, anytime someone said something negative about Joan Rivers, no matter how trivial, she became upset, would cry and threaten lawsuits.  "I"m only trying to make people laugh," she defended herself.  Rivers is not a nice or fair person and totally blind to what damage she does.

How much observation can a person take?  I thought Dame Elizabeth was a great actress.  She was also a mother who managed to keep her children private.  How she accomplished this I don't know.

Was she vain, narcissistic?  When she underwent brain surgery to remove a benign tumor, her head was shaved and there was a scar crossing the top of her head.  She allowed people to see her bald  -- back in the day when no one saw anything like this.  She allowed photographers to take pictures of her with no hair.  She was philanthropic and became very involved with AIDs research and treatments.  She did her best to fight against AIDS until she was too ill to continue.

She is at peace now.  Thank you, Dame Elizabeth Taylor, for your wonderful performances, renowned beauty and long life.

I Never Saw Anyone Look More Like Marilyn Monroe in My Life

Karyn Kupcinet in the Nutty Professor (deleted scene)

The Nutty Professor came out in 1963.  I always had a feeling that Karyn Kupcinet was in it, but may have died before he completed the film.  Anyway, Jerry looks very sweaty and to me it's like a rehearsal. She is in the crowd that comes over to the piano.  She has short, dark hair and is very small in stature.  She's the one who puts her head on her folded arms when Jerry goofs.

Karyn died mysteriously, probably murdered, on Thanksgiving 1963.  She was not found till 3 nights later.  Irv Kupcinet, newspaperman and TV host, was her father.  She came from a very wealthy and popular family.  Her father became "Mr. Chicago."  After he died, they built a bronze statue of him on a high platform by the waterway, hand out, welcoming everyone to Chicago.  The Wabash Ave Bridge was renamed (during his lifetime) the Irv Kupcinet Bridge.

Karyn was 22 when she died.  She had an IQ of 146.  Although small, she was big-boned like her father and people like that look heavier than a small/medium-boned person.  She was addicted to methamphetamine pills, trying to keep thin.  One photographer white-outed part of her shoulders and neck.  She underwent a lot of plastic surgery.  Two days before she died, she refilled a prescription of 100 Desoxyn.  The police found the empty bottle in her bathroom cabinet.  Where did they go?  Did someone steal them?  The autopsy was botched and basically no meds showed up.
